Sharda Nagar: In a remarkable and heartening move, Sevadeep Foundation took a significant step forward on Wednesday by inaugurating a free education center for underprivileged children in the Sharda Nagar area.
The inauguration ceremony of the first educational center, located in Sharda Nagar, was graced by the presence of Shri Dunbahadur Das, the esteemed director of Sevadeep Foundation, who was recently honored with a prestigious National Award for his best contribution in the education domain. Co-director Abhishek Kumar was also present during the auspicious occasion, and a special video call connected Robin Smith to join in the celebration.
Numerous attendees, including local dignitaries such as Chandan Yadav, Prahlad Kumar, Gautam Kumar, and Raghunandan Vas, were present to witness this inspiring moment and pledge their support for the noble cause.
Nisha Kumari has been appointed as the head of the center, an experienced and passionate educator. Sevadeep Foundation has graciously provided her with a monthly honorarium to support her personal growth and academic pursuits.
Punavahadur Das, the director of the education center, expressed his vision for the project. He emphasized that each center will be managed by dedicated youth from the same society, ensuring a connection to the community's needs and aspirations. To maintain the highest standards of education, regular quality checks will be conducted, and any issues will be addressed promptly, including the replacement of center directors if necessary.
Sevadeep Foundation has set an ambitious goal of establishing at least 500 such free education centers for underprivileged children. With their unyielding determination and commitment to social welfare, they are on track to achieve this milestone sooner than expected.
Furthermore, the organization has promised to introduce a host of beneficial schemes designed to uplift underprivileged communities. These initiatives will be implemented from the grassroots level, ensuring their effectiveness and meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
